Program for Jewish students with multiple disabilities (physical and learning) who want to attend a Jewish Day School.  From grades kindergarten-12th grade.  Located at : Hebrew Academy (middle school).

Sulam, established in 1998, is the only non-profit Jewish educational organization in the Greater Washington area for children who require special education.  By partnering with Jewish day schools, Sulam educates children with special needs alongside their peers.

Sulam's staff and the staff of each partner school, create a specialized learning environment.  Each child develops the skills and strategies to become empowered learners. Sulam students are engaged in all aspects of school life.  The children interact with age appropriate peers throughout the day in classes, during prayers, lunch, field trips and in extracurricular activities.

Each child receives a stipend of $500 from The Jewish Federation of Greater Washington.
