EntryPointDC GesherCity was established in 2000 to provide social networks and community resources to young adults, ages 21-35, who are either new to the DC area or interested in getting connected to the Jewish community.  This program helps newcomers navigate Jewish life in Washington by providing them with all the resources they need to get settled, get out and get Jewish. Has online calendar of events.

Looking for a roommate? selling furniture? want a new job? Look at bulletin boards and discussion boards on www.geshercity.org.

Over 3,500 registered users regularly access the weekly eNews calendar for events of interest to young adults.  Over 100 community organizations post their events to our site, allowing us to represent all facets of Jewish life  in the Metropolitan Washington area.  Clusters are groups of individuals, led by a volunteer cluster coordinator, that gives people of similar interest an opportunity to meet in a welcoming environment. Clusters help people that are new to the DC area and those new to the DC Jewish community to meet in a small, informal environment. Clusters range in size and tend to hold events once a month.
Shabbat Clusters are groups of approximately 10 people with similar interests and observance levels who meet monthly for informal potluck Shabbat dinners in each others' homes

Every week, an email listing upcoming events is sent to registered users. Local Jewish organizations post events ranging from films to happy hours, lectures to sports leagues, and everything in-between.  

Housing - roommate match up, on line bulletin board for young Jews under the age of 35 to look for places to live.  List of popular apartment buildings of young Jews.

High Holiday tickets - discounted and complimentary tickets available to registered users who are not currently affiliated with local congregations.
