Block and Hexter Vacation Center seeks to provide senior adults with stimulating yet relaxing vacations in a tranquil, rural setting.
560 wooded acre campsite in the Pocono Mountains region of Pennsylvania. The Block & Hexter Vacation Center of Associated Camps, Inc. offers a natural scenic setting, a private, spring fed 60 acre lake, and a wide variety of recreational and cultural activities which promote self-development and foster opportunities for building friendships in a warm and caring environment 150 miles from New York City.  

Features programs for adults 55 +, as well as programs for Passover, the High Holidays, Sukkos and family and singles retreats,  Available to host retreats and events, conference group, wedding or Bar/Bat Mitzvah. 
Comfortable, well-appointed motel style guest lodges are set in close proximity to all facilities. All buildings are connected by wide, paved walkways and are completely ramp accessible, accommodating up to 232 people in 116 double occupancy rooms with private bathrooms and all rooms are  individually air conditioned. Each building has its own private lounge which can be used for small group gatherings.
Tasty Glatt Kosher meals. Official sponsor of Elderhostel programs. Traditional High Holidays and Passover programs are offered each year. The Center is also available to host retreats or conference groups.

Travel Directions:
From Washington:  Washington Beltway to Route I-95 North to Baltimore Beltway (I-695). Route I-695 to Route I-83 North towards Scranton. Take Route 81 North to Exit #206 (Route 374). Take Route 374 Northeast for 14 miles (across hilly terrain and with several right and left turns). At junction with Route 171 North turn left and travel approx. 3.5 miles. Turn right onto Route 370 and travel Northeast for approx. 6- 7 miles. Block and Hexter access road sign will be on right. Turn right and follow access road and signs into camp.
