Leave your name, address and phone number. Information will be mailed to you (JIRS also has applications to be mailed). The Hebrew Free Loan Association lends funds INTEREST FREE to Jewish residents of the Washington Metropolitan area who are in financial need for specific requirements. The objective is to help those in need over a temporary financial crisis in the hope that this help will elevate their personal and family welfare to a better level. Must be worthwhile cause where the person cannot obtain funds anywhere else.
Small loans are available for: 
    (a) personal loan - Maximum $5,000.00 to be paid back at the rate of $200 per month for no more than 25 months.
    (b) education loan for last two undergraduate years or 2 years of graduate school. Maximum $5000.00 to be paid back immediately at the rate of $25 per month for 25 months, and then balance to be paid back at the rate of $175 per month.     		                                          	          
**REQUIREMENTS: Must have 3 Jewish co-signers who live locally. The borrower and his/her co-makers will be interviewed together. Co-makers cannot be borrowers or co-makers of another Hebrew Free Loan service and must be Jewish.
