The Jewish Appleseed Foundation has three basic goals: To reach out to Jews with liberal Jewish spiritual and educational programs, To provide information about Judaism to all who are interested, and To build interfaith understanding between Jews and non-Jews. 
They believe that every single Jew is a valuable member of the Jewish community with needs that the larger community is obligated to address.  The Foundation’s outreach efforts are targeted at: 
Jews who are geographically distanced from established Jewish communities,
Jews who are not affiliated with a congregation,
Jews who are spiritually or emotionally distanced from Judaism, and
Jews whose community needs are not being met by other organizations. 
Another important mission of the Foundation is to create safe environments for Jews who live in small, predominantly non-Jewish communities.  For this reason, the Foundation fields a variety of programs that foster interfaith understanding between Jews and non-Jews. 

The Jewish Appleseed Foundation is a not-for-profit foundation. Donations are tax deductible.  Publication is Seedlings.
