WILL PICK UP FOOD - IF SUBSTANTIAL AMOUNT (more than will fit in a minivan).  But, if possible, would like food to be brought in. Salvages perishable and non-perishable food  from supermarkets, plus receives donated food from schools, churches, synagogues,  individuals and groups. Food is distributed free of charge to referred individuals. Also provides food to shelters, pantries and soup kitchens. 
Referrals by private social agencies, schools, churches, synagogues, doctors, and agencies.

Eligibility: Must be referred by public or private social service agency or institution;can only have food once in 30 days. Satellites in Gaithersburg, Silver Spring, Germantown, Wheaton, Colesville, Takoma Park

Fees: No charge for food

Intake Process: Must have a referral for next day to pick up food
