8 weekly 2 hours sessions led by mothers who are professionally trained in infant development and group leadership

P.A.C.E. organizes support, education and discussion groups for mothers with infants between birth and six months. Groups consist of ten mothers who bring their babies with them to each meeting. Each group meets for eight two-hour sessions, seven of which take place on a weekday. The eighth session is usually held on a weekend and includes the fathers. Groups are led by mothers who are trained mental health professionals or educators. There are topics for discussion each week and time is set aside for members to share their experiences and discuss subjects of mutual concern. The combination of education and support works so well that P.A.C.E. group members usually continue to meet on their own after the workshops end.
P.A.C.E. (Parent and Community Education) was formed in 1973 to provide education and support to mothers of babies between birth and six months.
