Program/Service Notes:

An organization for children and descendents of Holocaust Survivors and friends in the greater Washington D.C. metropolitan area.  Offers programs dedicated to the remembrance of the Holocaust and to support the needs of the generations after, including guest speakers, support activities, and educational and social action projects. Bi-monthly events are usually on Sundays and free to all.  Events are on topics of interest, including 
    what it's like to be a 2G 
    how to pass the legacy onto our children 
    events honoring the memory 
    caring for our parents.  
The Generation After was established in 1979 and is celebrating it's 25th year anniversary.  Affiliated with other Second Generation (2G) groups internationally, with the local Survivor's groups, with the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum, and with the new 2G umbrella group Generations of the Shoah International.
