OneFamily provides direct financial, legal, and emotional assistance to the victims of terrorism.

Many organizations collect money for victims of terror. OneFamily is different. They collect not only money, but all human resources - people who have suffered through terror attacks, together with caring people who thankfully haven't. People in Israel and people in almost every country around the world. 
Together we volunteer time and money and help families of terror victims in every way. We work directly with the families, every day of the year. That is why a recent survey by "New Wave Research" showed OneFamily to be rated as "the most helpful" organization by the victims themselves


The impetus for IESF-OneFamily came from twelve year-old Michal Belzberg of Jerusalem. Michal cancelled her Bat Mitzvah party to contribute the funds to the orphans, bereaved families, and wounded victims. 

Emergency Attention
An attack occurs. Amid the carnage and confusion, IESF-OneFamily springs into action. Through its relationships with all of Israel's emergency rooms and trauma centers our system to help survivors begins. While emergency teams are stabilizing a victim's condition, IESF-OneFamily's petty cash fund is utilized by hospital staff to tend to the particular needs of their family, including transportation and food. 

Human Needs


IESF-OneFamily:  
Disburses funds, with a human touch, to provide for the immediate and long-term needs that government agencies do not provide including: expense stipends, bank loan relief, tuition assistance, necessary home alterations. 
Distributes goods, such as computers, laptops, household appliances, orthopedic beds, and clothing to victims and their families. 
Assists victims through the bureaucratic process to qualify for and maximize relevant government benefits. 
Leverages relationships with professionals to help victims get top medical care and legal assistance at the best price. We also help find jobs for victims and their families. 
Dispatches volunteers to visit every hospitalized victim or house of mourning, to help ease their pain and understand their needs. 
 


Emotional Rebuilding


IESF-OneFamily:  
Organizes and funds social events and retreats to draw victims out of their trauma and build networks of support. 
Brings recovered teenage victims together with recent wounded in ongoing programs to foster the recovery and healing of all. 
Funds psychological therapy, transportation to clinics, and support groups for rehabilitation beyond the minimum provided by Israel's national insurance. 
Creates weekends where families are provided a safe and fun environment with professionals to help the recovery process. 
 


Special Projects 

IESF-OneFamily Orphans' Fund
While terrorism affects people of all ages, perhaps the most devastated are the hundreds of children who were made orphans or lost a parent. IESF-OneFamily allocates funds to the long-term well being of these children. The Orphans' Fund will be devoted to providing orphans with educational and housing assistance as well as mental and physical care. 

Adopt-a-Family
Through our twinning programs, communities around the world are adopting families, becoming their friends, and contributing to our work to help improve their quality of life. 

Camp OneFamily
IESF-OneFamily sponsored 700 kids from stressed areas throughout Israel to participate in a healing camp environment. One camper tragically lost his mother, father, and younger brother to a terror attack while he attended camp. 

Building Bridges
IESF-OneFamily has become the conduit through which individuals, news media, and others worldwide contact victims of terrorism. We also advise individuals and other organizations about direct giving to the victims.
