Program/Service Notes:

Manager, Interfaith Clothing Center: Maribel Contreras 

Collects gently used, or new, children's, women's and men's clothing and shoes, household goods, school supplies, infant items, toys and children's books.  Items free of charge to low-income residents of Montgomery County.  Can accept complete and functioning computers in good working condition.

Especially needs toys, games, children's books, dishes, flatware, pots and pans, sheets, towels, blankets, curtains, small appliances in working condition, hangers, and large shopping bags. 

ICC and UICC are seeking volunteers to sort, organize and display clothing, accept donations and assist clients. Short term and long-term volunteers, groups or individuals, hourly or daily commitments are welcome and appreciated. Teenagers may receive Student Service Learning credit. 

ICC and UICC are seeking schools, businesses, congregations, service groups, etc., to sponsor drives of specific much-needed items (i.e. new or used children's books, diapers, new or used winter apparel, new socks and underwear, new school supplies, new toys, and new layette items for newborn babies). 
Open year round, except for the first two weeks of July, the last week of December, Federal holidays, Yom Kippur, and Thanksgiving Saturday.
