Program/Service Notes:

The premiere arts experience for Jewish teens entering grades 8-12. Create, perform, exhibit, immerse yourself in the arts!

SAMPLE ART SPECIALTIES: art, classical ensembles/orchestra, computer graphics, creative writing, dance, jazz ensembles, radio broadcasting, rock/pop bands, theater (acting, musical theater, improv), vocal music, Photojournalism

Join more than 250 Jewish teens from all over the U.S., Israel, and Moscow at JCC Maccabi ArtsFest 2008. Weeklong program arts-immersion program, held at George Mason University in Fairfax, VA, is a combination of master classes, performances, and exhibitions for teens entering 8th through 12th grades.  Teens will participate in a Jewish experience including social action, Israeli and Judaic cultural programs, social events, home hospitality and a final night performance.

Volunteers needed for welcoming/hospitality/foodservice/clerical work/information/chaperones and host families.
