JSSA has been helping people across the Washington metropolitan area meet emotional, social, and physical challenges for over 100 years. A nonsectarian provider, JSSA serves people of all religious backgrounds, races and ethnicities, helping the youngest child to the most fragile senior, from individuals to entire families. JSSA’s wide range of counseling, vocational, educational, in-home support, nursing care and social services assist over 15,000 people a year. JSSA is particularly known for comprehensive programs for children and adults with special needs and for hospice care.
