Program/Service Notes:

Executive Director: Cindy Libby-Green

Provide home services to clients.  Residential service agency - homemaker and home care aides.  Clients must have the ability to pay in full for services. Some insurance covers the cost and there is some subsidized from JSSA. 165 employees on staff already.  Do not have to be a JSSA client or have an evaluation completed. No physicians order.  Staff has been interviewed, police clearances and state and federal fingerprinting, references checked, verified all the health issues (such as TB), have CPR, have current certification in appropriate categories. 
Costs: Housekeeping and Home care aides between $17 for 5 hours or more and $22 an hour for 4 hour minimum covering a 24 hour shift by way of two twelve hour shifts. (Typically do not send anyone for less than 4 hours unless client lives in congregant housing and then it is 2 hours.)
Live in position is $185 day.
Care Management $85 - hour. Can take emergencies - will try to fill.  Clients must pay for the cost of transportation at 48 cents per mile from client's home to appointments of client of the worker uses their own car.
Health Watch, (JSSA' version of Lifeline)  a personal emergency response system $50 installation and $35 per month for service. Client wears a wristband or a pendant that is tied into a console installed in the home that operates through the phone line so that if they should fall, have any kind of emergency they can press the button and call for help.

Fees: Home care aides between $15 for 5 hours or more and $20 an hour for 4 hour minimum covering a 24 hour shift by way of two twelve hour shifts. (Typically do not send anyone for less than 5 hours unless client lives in congregant housing.) Live in position $175 per da.
