Program/Service Notes:

Co-Chairs: Laurie Solnik and Ann Mesnikoff

An independent, egalitarian, lay-led Havurah serving the Capitol Hill area Jewish community with scheduled Kabbalat Shabbat Services and Potluck Dinners, Tot Shabbat/Family Service, Community Havdalah, Yavneh after school educational program, High Holiday Services on the Hill, Community Passover Seder, other holiday celebrations and life cycle events such as weddings, funerals, baby namings/bris ceremonies, Bar/Bat Mitzvah and more.  Please check website for event schedule and location.  

Meets at the Christ Our Shepherd Church   801 North Carolina Avenue, SE at 7 PM.  Potluck dinner follows.
Normally 25-30 individuals including families.

Religious school -Yavneh on the Hill - grades K-6. A children’s weekly, after-school program that provides Jewish cultural and spiritual education. The curriculum and activities focus on Jewish values, traditions, prayers & songs. Meets Tuesday afternoons (3:45-5:45) during the school year.

Hours: 3rd Friday of every month, 2nd Saturday Tot Shabbat, 4th Saturday havdalah and Dessert

Fees: $108/year membership per person or $216 per family
