The Abused Persons Program provides crisis and ongoing counseling, shelter, support and advocacy services to victims & offenders of partner-related domestic abuse and their families

Specific Services Include 24-hour telephone and walk-in crisis counseling, information and referral, 24-hour accessible shelter for victims of domestic abuse and their dependent children, transitional housing, individual counseling, education and support groups for victims and abusers, psychiatric evaluation, treatment and consultation, case management services to coordinate human service needs, victim assistance with the legal system and other County agencies, and educational programs on issues of domestic violence for professionals.
Who is Eligible: 
Any Montgomery County resident who is the victim of partner-related domestic violence and their dependent children and any resident or non-resident who has been charged with partner-related domestic violence in Montgomery County. For partner related abuse only, provides crisis and ongoing counseling, shelters, support and advocacy services to adult victims of domestic violence and their families.  Also has batterers' treatment services.

Hours: 
Crisis: Telephone/Walk-In: 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Program Office: Monday-Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Shelter Services: 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Counseling: By appointment. Evening hours available.
