Match up individuals with special needs individuals to have a friendships. Specialized program also called E-buddies for over the Internet.  Set up one-to-one friendships.  Specialized program for high schools, college and adult programs. Received grant from Montgomery County.  Best buddy chapters in eleven high schools in Montgomery County.  Home office is in Baltimore for state of Maryland.  National programs.  Special education teacher needs to decide if child is appropriate for the program. Provides a citizen program matches adults with disabilities in friendships and e-Buddies program that offers basic computer training and Internet friendships to people with disabilities.
