THE MISSION OF THE APPLE HILL CENTER FOR CHAMBER MUSIC is to create the most beautiful music possible in Apple Hill Chamber Players worldwide concerts and workshops, and in so doing to Play for Peace- to inspire friendship, community, peace, and understanding between people of conflicting cultures and diverse backgrounds, ages, and abilities - at Apple Hill, throughout the United States, and throughout the world.

Apple Hill's "Playing for Peace" Project exists to promote friendship, peace, understanding, and basic human contact between and among Israelis, Palestineians, Arabs, Europeans, Asians--all peoples of the world--and Americans. "Playing for Peace" provides a unique and ongoing model for cultural exchange and empathy, relevant to all areas of the world beset by seemingly irresolvable conflict.
