Operation Embrace encourages and facilitates outreach to support injured Israeli victims of terror and their families. This grassroots effort is supported by health care providers, social workers, and National Health Insurance agencies throughout Israel. With their assistance, Operation Embrace is kept fully informed about the injured and their needs.

Operation Embrace is a non-profit organization that encourages and facilitates outreach to support injured Israeli victims of terror and their families.  It has been the experience of OE that when visiting survivors of terror, they say "one day we are news headlines and the next day we are soon forgotten."  We must let the more than 5,500 injured know that people here in the U.S. truly care about them.

OE functions on 3 levels: 1) facilitates Americans in corresponding with survivors and their families; 2) through social workers in Israel, provides funds for specific needs of victims, 3) organizes missions to Israel to visit victims in hospitals, rehab centers and in their homes.

Some suggested ways to Embrace: 
   - Participate in an OE Mission to Israel 

   - Donate Bar/Bat Mitzvah gifts 

   - Send emails, letters, greetings cards or gifts 

   - Make regular phone calls 

   - Organize school and class tzedakah projects 

   - Donate funds for... 

  - purchasing laptop computers 

  - sending an injured child to camp 

  - providing medical equipment 

  - other individualized needs
