Program/Service Notes:

Al Galgalim/Training Wheels is a Jewish family education program created by Hadassah. Al Galgalim is designed for families with pre-school age children and is designed to introduce unaffiliated, interfaith families to the joys of celebrating Shabbat and the Jewish holidays. Al Galgalim lets parents/grandparents of preschool age children (2-5 years old) become partners in discovering the joys of being Jewish in the hands-on, pressure-free, friendly environment of small groups. Al Galgalim includes age-appropriate crafts, games and songs, as well as a curriculum-based education.

"	Parenting discussions on both secular and Jewish topics
During nine fun-filled sessions throughout the year, families will learn fun ways to celebrate the Jewish holidays of Sukkot, Shabbat, Hanukkah, Tu B'Shevat, Purim, Passover, and Israel Independence Day. We will also offer opportunities for families to do Tzedakah projects together.
 
In Northern Virginia, all sessions will be held at the Northern Virginia Jewish Community Center (JCCNV) 8900 Little River Turnpike, Fairfax, VA 22031.
In Maryland, meets at the Ring House   Executive Boulevard in Rockville.
 
Space is limited to 12 participants in Northern Virginia and 20 in Maryland. First come first serve. A nominal program fee will be charged for program materials.

Hours: Offered every fall - limited spaces/ Call for reservations. Meets on one Sunday each month (for 9 times) from 10-11:30 am
