In addition to its everyday patients, Hospital treats victims of terrorist attacks.  Is one of five hospitals designated to care for victims of chemical and biological warfare. Emergency and Trauma Center on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.  Department placed on alert three to five times a week due to warnings of planned terrorist attacks.
