Year long program sponsored by The United Jewish Endowment Fund of Greater Washington.
Jewish Service Corps, offers motivated young men and women ages 20-26 the opportunity to live, learn and work in Israel. While on a kibbutz for 3 1/2 months studying Hebrew in Ulpan, an Israeli family will adopt the Otzmanik. After January, work in a Youth Aliyah Village. Then experience life in the desert by living with a Moshav family on Israeli-American kibbutzim Yahel and Lotan. Then 2 1/2 month Partnership 2000 community in Beit Shemesh. Also includes educational seminars and tiyulim.

Hours: Mon-Fri, 9-5

Eligibility: Any Jewish young adult 18-24

Fees: Cost under $12,000/subsidies from local Federations
