The Hebrew Free Burial Society takes care of all burial arrangements for indigent Jews who could not afford a traditional Jewish funeral.  The Jewish Chaplaincy Services of the Jewish Federation of Greater Washington provides Rabbinic coverage for these funerals, which are conducted at the Chesed Shel Emes Society's cemetery in Capital Heights, Maryland.
