Non-profit organization allied with a host of organizations to provide for the needs of local Jewish women and children who are victims of abuse. Mission is to assist individuals in the Jewish community who are victims of domestic abuse- to provide them with support, counseling and assistance enabling them to become empowered and to obtain safe environments for their families. To educate the entire Jewish community about the existence of domestic abuse and appropriate responses to it. Services include a resource directory, a confidential  helpline, trained Rabbis and mental health professionals, referrals for counseling and other services and education and outreach programs.
JCADA operates a Domestic Abuse Treatment Team to meet the diverse needs of its clients and their children.  JCADA’s Case Manager oversees all aspects of a client’s assistance, from arranging for safe shelter or legal assistance to providing for food and job training.  JCADA contracts with the Jewish Social Service Agency (JSSA) to provide counseling for clients and their families, and has conducted numerous training programs for JSSA clinicians to ensure that they are prepared to effectively handle domestic abuse cases.
Victims of domestic abuse often need cell phones, temporarily or permanently, to help them deal with an abusive situation or to rebuild their lives.  JCADA works with a community service program to recycle your old cell phones and make them available to new clients.  Please send your used cell phones, chargers, and accessories to their office  or call to arrange a convenient time to drop them off.
