The endowment arm of The Jewish Federation of Greater Washington. Our community, through UJEF, has created and maintains a permanent philanthropic structure for the enhancement of our Jewish community in Washington and others around the world.  Providing seed-money and grants for special and one-time Jewish needs which cannot be funded through other sources, the endowment fund helps to strengthen and preserve our Jewish heritage for future generations.  As a direct result of UJEF, our community benefits from  a host of innovative programs, the security of a reserve fund for emergencies, and a channel for the charitable interests of our community.

Deadline for scholarship applications for the 2004-2005 academic year is March 1, 2004.
