America's national institution for the documentation, exhibition, study, and interpretation of Holocaust history. The museum serves as this county's memorial to the millions murdered during the Holocaust.
TO ORDER TICKETS, CALL PROTIX 1-800-400-9373     To obtain ticket same day: In winter, person must be in line by 9:30 am. (Box office opens at 10:00)   In summer and spring, person should be in line by 8:30 am. 1,700  tickets given out each day. 
No kosher restaurant available at the museum.
National museum of Holocaust memorabilia.  Permanent displays, Daniel's Story (Children's Exhibit), special exhibits, lectures, movies, concerts.  Can research relatives using web page.
Closest Metro stop: Smithsonian Station (Orange and Blue Lines). Located at 14th Street and Independence Avenue.
