Shoresh Hebrew High School of Ohr Kodesh Congregation in Chevy Chase, Maryland, is a unique Jewish studies program for 8th–12th grade students who attend secular schools in the Washington area. Shoresh offers teenagers from diverse backgrounds a text-based course of Jewish study. Shoresh meets on Sunday 6-9 pm during the school year.

Shoresh draws students from across the Washington Jewish community:
Adas Israel, Adat Shalom, Beth El, B'nai Tzedek, Chabad Ezras Israel, Fabrangen, Har Shalom, Kehila Chadasha, Kehilat Shalom, Mishkan Torah, Ohr Kodesh, Olam Tikvah, Temple Emmanuel, Temple Shalom, Tifereth Israel, Tikvat Israel, and Woodside.

Shoresh means source. These are our aims: 
To read and understand the siddur. 
To study narrative parts of the Bible in Hebrew (with translation). 
To complete a survey of Jewish history and thought from Abraham to Zionism. 
To acquire an understanding of basic texts of Jewish law and ethics.
