Ages 2-5
Offers half and full day. Dance, theatre, music, arts and crafts and storytelling daily.  Small classes, bilingual education (Hebrew and English), Conservative Jewish curriculum.
Parent involvement. Classes include: story time, singing, Night or Laila Tov workshop (how to put your child to sleep Jewishly); and Shabbat Shira Service (live accompaniment).

Child/youth classes

Classes, workshops, lectures in all of the following areas: Jewish Education; Childhood Education, Mathematics, Reading, Writing, Learning Disabilities.  



Elementary grade workshops focus on aspects of mathematics, reading, writing, poetry and spelling.  

Parenting classes include: Best nutrition for your baby; Exercise for parent and infant; and Creative solutions for going back to work.

This class is the perfect opportunity for babies and toddlers (birth – 2 yrs.) and their parents/caregivers to immerse themselves in Jewish content, context and culture, Israel and Hebrew.  Each eighty minute session will feature several segments including songs, dances, interactive participation of parents/caregivers and children, gross motor skills and coordination activities.  In addition, participants will enjoy our lavish exercise corner, mats, soft climbing structures, exercise balls and riding toys.

 

The highlight of each session is a communal kaballat Shabbat service that takes place together with the preschool children in the donor's gallery and that features Shabbat songs and blessing of the candles and bread.   

 

Parents/caregivers must attend with child.  Please bring your own dairy snack as the Congregation keeps kosher.  

 

Session Dates: Fridays, September: 16, 23, 30; October: 7, 14, 21, 28; November:

4, 11, 18; and December: 2, 9, 16.  

 

Taught by: Galeet Westreich, Agudas Achim Preschool Director, who will return with new and exciting songs, dances and activities for our littlest ones.
