The NJCD, under Union of Orthodox Jewish Congregations of America,  is composed of 4 major divisions which include:  Most programs are in New York City however, there are branches around the country
1. National Resource Center. A premier clearing-house which provides resource information, referral services, consultation, and direct services to individuals, families and agencies regarding all kinds of disabilities.
2. National Center for Inclusion promotes, facilitates, and provides for the inclusion of all children and adults through its departments of school and educational services, vocational resources and job placement, and clinical services.
3. Yachad which provides unique social, educational and recreational "mainstreamed" programs for individuals (ages 8-40) with developmental disabilities.
4. Our Way which provides both mainstreamed and self-contained educational and recreational activities for the hearing-impaired and deaf.

Good Sports athletic training and sports activities 
Jewish heritage classes providing Jewish education for developmentally disabled and learning disabled youth & young adults 
Mainstreamed summer camping & touring experiences for the developmentally disabled & hearing-impaired 
Vocational Resources and Job Placement 

Yachad - informal educational and social recreational program for individuals with special needs. Primary for individuals with development disabilities.  Mainstream program - all activities participate with non-challenged individuals.  Junior level - 8 to 14  Senior level - 15 to 25 mainstream together with high schools student in a synagogue, school or outside activities.  Chapter coordinators reaches out to different groups to include them with their members.  Yachad also has a summer program to Israel (one month) touring and working on kibbutz. (No Israel trip summer of 2002)
  Also 1 month East Coast tour - New York to Disney World.
Mainstream 20 to 25 high school students that participate with the Yachad members.
Our Way for the Deaf and Hearing Impaired Programs - provides similar programs to deaf and hearing impaired - duplicate Yachad program.   Some of the programs are mainstream and others are not.
Closest chapter is Baltimore.
Serves as a national resource center on issues ranging from school placement, helping with school placement (fight with boards of education to get rights for students).  Conferences, workshops for parents and families, sibling programs, parents programs, speakers bureau.  Covers any issue of disabilities.
