Washington representative office for the International Chabad Lubavitch movement; coordinates activities for Lubavitch on Capitol Hill and in Washington; advocates causes for Chabad Lubavitch's international network with centers in 44 states and nearly 60 countries; runs prayer services, study groups and social programs geared toward Jewish Congressional staffers and members of the Washington community. Each year American Friends of Lubavitch sponsors the lighting of the National Menorah on the Ellipse, as well as numerous other Jewish programs.

Aura, a play on words, mingling word that means light within with the Hebrew for "her light". Introduces Jewish history, culture and ritual to professional women. Nechama Shemtov is the director.

Hours: Mon-Thurs, 9-6/ Fri, 9-2 Close early for Shabbat. Services held on Shabbat evening 6pm and Shabbat morning 9:30 am followed by kiddush
