Museum Director: Col. Herb Rosenbleeth USA (Ret)

Celebrates the dedication of Jewish Americans to the peace & security of the United States. Exhibits show Jewish participation and support in all American Wars. Special exhibitions throughout the year. Exhibitions include photographs, bugles, binoculars, stirrups, posters, hand-painted illustrated maps of troop movements, and flags ad firearms from the Revolutionary War to the present. New exhibits every year. Handicap accessible.  Parking in rear on Sundays only.  Metro:  Dupont Circle, Q St. exit. Free admission. Donations accepted.

The National Museum of American Jewish Military History is seeking volunteers and interns in the following areas: Docent Program, Collections and Education and Outreach.  Days and time of commitment are flexible.  Benefits include honorary Museum membership, a copy of all exhibition catalogues, invitation to all exhibition openings, lectures and special events and the annual volunteer appreciation lunch.

The museum is a member of the Dupont-Kalorama  Museums Consortium and participates in its annual Walk Weekend in June.

Hours: Mon-Fri, 9-5/ Sun.1-5 by appointment only, Closed Sat. Jewish & Federal Holidays(except open Memorial Day and Veteran's Day, 1-5 p.m.)
