Program/Service Notes:

Since most new immigrants arrive in Israel with little money and without their parents, higher education would be impossible without financial assistance.  The Israeli Government offers all immigrant students tuition scholarships for up to three years at universities and colleges, however, this is usually not enough time for a new immigrant to complete a degree because they are required to first attend a preparatory year.  In addition, this government funding does not cover living expenses for most immigrant students and most students must work part-time to bridge the gap.  The result: many students have to drop out before they complete their studies.  We plan to reach up to 5,000 students.
